3 students in a classroom are asked, “What are the most important human emotions?” One responds with happiness, one with sadness, and one with attention. The teacher then asks, “Why?” The student that said happiness says, “We do everything we do to be happy and is our most desired state.” The second student replies, “Because without sadness we don’t have happiness.” The third student then said, “Happiness or sadness would not exist with our attention.” The teacher then asks, “What is enlightenment?” No response.
